Podcasts for learning

Wouldn’t it be cool if you were able to drive into work and learn new things at the same time? If that sounds fun, Podcasts are a great way to learn. I have had the pleasure of producing two learning podcasts. We are over 30 episodes deep at this point, and by creating 2 formats for the shows we are been able to effectively engage and drive learning culture to our internal audience through entertaining and educational podcasts.
Our podcasts begin with by getting a few great minds together with some knowledge to share. With a goal of 20-45 minute episodes (depending on the show) we have our regular hosts ask a few common questions, then talk about specific projects or skills that the episode is focused on.
All podcasts are recorded using Zoom recorders and Sure Microphones. Editing is done using Adobe Audition, Review is done via Frame.io, and sharing/listening is done via internal web services.
